dc.description.abstract1. Azure Migration Manager: Migrating from on-premise workload to cloud is one of the huge and tough tasks for every organization. For this one will need an expert who will guide for what to migrate, how to migrate, how much to migrate, what will be advantages, what will be disadvantages, what will be cost, how resources will be managed after migration and all such queries. Azure migration manager is a tool using which user can get answers of all of the above queries. Accessing each and every resource in current network, fetching connection between resources in current network and identifying configuration of all such resources like CPU clock speed, memory space used, memory space available, number of cores in CPU, disk space used, disk space available, average memory utilization and average CPU utilization is one of the initial activity performed by this tool. Saving files on Azure blob, creating and fetching Power BI reports, estimating cost for migration, managing cloud resources after migration, optimizing cloud resources, turning on and off of cloud resources are some of the additional features of this tool in addition of just migrating on-premise workload to Azure cloud. Accessing on-premise workload needs to be managed by vCenter server but vCenter supports only 1500 VMs integration. For larger workload discovery it needs to be split one project into multiple projects. On the other hand, Azure Migration manager is be able to integrate up to 10000 VMs into one single project. It also allows bindings across all over locations. The geography related with the migration project is used to store the metadata from the on-premises interface. Metadata is stored in one of the regions based on the geography generated for the migration manager project. The Azure Migrate service assesses on-machine data for migration to Azure. The service assesses the migration suitability of on-premises machines, it performs performance-based sizing, and gives facilities for cost estimations for running on-premises workloads in Azure. Azure migration manager recommends the size for azure VMs based on the performance history of on-premise machine, the estimated cost for running on-premise machine into azure, assess whether on-premise machine is suitable for running in VMs or not. 2. Certification Recommendation System: Assigning certification to an employee in very complex task which is needed to be done by a project manager who is very much involved in certification related things and has very deep knowledge of certifications as well as employees. There are more than 10 different things or we can say parameters which a project manager keeps in mind before assigning a certification to an employee. Recruiting project managers from other organizations and assigning them this task leads to chaos as all other organizations do not encourage certification completion. Tomake newer project managers life easyMAQSoftware came up with an idea of Certification Recommended System, which will give 3 recommendation to project manager by considering many different aspects/parameters. Considering organizational priorities, tenure, past completed certifications is one of the key features of this recommendation system.
